FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Avery and her staff look forward to serving you and helping you set up an appointment for either our cake or event planning services. We offer tastings which are priced. Due to COVID conditions, we are currently restricting appointments inside the facility.
1) Do you have any additional images or videos of other cakes or events besides the ones on the website?
Yes, we do! As we continue to grow and new ideas and themes arise, we continue to update our social media platform. If you desire a design not seen on the website, inquiries are more than welcomed. Our platforms include Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube pages. You will also find pictures of a wide selection of our cakes and events on those platforms.
2) When viewing the events and cakes, I notice there are no prices. Why?
When it comes to cakes, the style and size impact the price. Sometimes a small cake may cost much more than a larger one due to the complexity of the design. The same is true for a larger cake with a simpler design. Our smallest serving size is for 10 for a 6 inch in diameter cake size. Our minimum order is $125.
As for events many factors are considered such as location, guest size, time frame, limitations of the venue, weather, and much more. It is best to book a consultation to properly customize a package for your dream event.
3) When is the best time I should book my cake or event?
Ideally, for wedding cakes, it is best to book 3-6 months in advance. For cakes that are 1-2 tiers or more, we prefer 2 weeks in advance. If we have openings in our schedule, an express fee is included. As for events, at least 6 months for weddings, at least 3 months for other events, and at least 2 weeks for balloon garland services.
4) When it comes to travel for events and cakes, what does it consist of? Is shipping an option? Do you travel outside of New York?
Unfortunately, we don’t ship cakes due to the unpredictable conditions the cake may face during delivery. Our staff will deliver cakes locally which requires a fee depending on the location. For locations outside of our radius, it is best to pick up the cakes. Another option is sending an Uber or other pick-up services. As for events, all events must be in New York.
5) Do you provide gluten-free, dairy-free, or egg-free cakes? Are there any nuts?
Unfortunately, we don’t provide gluten-free, dairy-free, or egg-free cakes. Our cakes and side desserts don’t contain nuts due to allergens.
6) How long can cakes stay at room temperature without refrigeration? Can the cakes or side desserts be placed in the freezer?
Ideally, we recommend all cakes not stay out longer than 4 days at room temperature. Our buttercream and fillings are perishable. In addition, all of our cakes are coated with White Chocolate Ganache to ensure stability. Following a final layer with either buttercream or fondant depending on the design. Buttercream can be placed in the freezer. However, fondant placed in the freezer will result in cracking.
7) Do you provide other options than the flavors provided?
Due to the surplus of orders, it would be very difficult to accommodate new recipes. It is best to select the choices we provide on our page.
